The new Maynard H. Jackson International Terminal and Concourse design provides new access for international passengers from the east side of the Airport via Interstate 75 and expands international capacity with sixteen additional passenger gates that can be utilized for domestic operations during non-peak hours. The project upgrades the Airport's international passenger service and support facilities, including ticketing, baggage handling, hold rooms, concessions, duty free shops, and other traveler comforts. The project also includes a new 1,100-space parking structure, as well as new terminal access and parking facilities on the east side of the Airport. The extension of the existing underground train system to the new terminal connects all aport facilities. This project is a joint venture effort consisting of Holder Manhattan CD Moody and Hunt operating as HMMH, a JV.
