| The Atlanta office was acquired by Manhattan in 2001. This office was originally founded in 1911, by privately held Flagler Company. Flagler was the first general contractor established in Georgia.
As Manhattan, the Atlanta office continues to foster the shared business practices of honesty, integrity and quality workmanship that both companies were founded on.
Other notable projects include: East Lake Country Club, built in the 1920s; Simmons Mattress Corporate Headquarters, renovations to the Capital City Club, Capital City Country Club, the Margaret Mitchell House and the Fox Theatre. The Atlanta office was also responsible for the build out of the 1988 Democratic National Convention in Atlanta.
