ATLANTA, Georgia - On Monday, May 21, 2007, Manhattan Construction Company was a major sponsor at the 4th Annual Charity Golf Event benefiting the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children. The Atlanta Day Shelter is a daytime home and resource center that opened its doors 23 years ago in June in the downtown Atlanta area to provide any woman and child refuge from the streets. The Day Shelter’s vital Job Readiness/Job Placement Program assisted more than l,000 women in finding full-time or part-time jobs, or complete our on-site computer training classes just last year.
