MANHATTAN HOLDS 7TH ANNUAL GOLF SCRAMBLE BENEFITTING ALS RESEARCH

HOUSTON, TEXAS - Manhattan Construction Company hosted their 7th Annual Golf Scramble on November 16th benefiting MDA's ALS Division. Manhattan presented a check for $40,000 to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), doubling last year’s donation. This year’s donation brings the seven year total to over $150,000 that Manhattan has donated to MDA.

Over 185 players attended including Manhattan Construction employees, subcontractors, clients and architects. The original organizer of the tournament, Manhattan's Vice President of Operations, Duane Duffy said, “The support for this event gets bigger and bigger every year. We are very appreciative of those who sponsored the event which raises money that goes toward finding the cause and treatments for ALS.”

This year's tournament was organized by the Manhattan employees and representatives from MDA. At the completion of the tournament, dinner, door prizes, and awards to the winning teams were bestowed. The event was held at Cypresswood Golf Club in Houston, Texas.
