TULSA, Okla. - The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Oklahoma named Manhattan Construction Company's Oklahoma State Capitol Renovation project as "Best of the Best" at the "Build Oklahoma Project Awards" recognizing outstanding projects completed in 2007. The project award was presented at the AGC 68th Annual Statewide Meeting held January 26, 2008 at the Tulsa Renaissance Hotel.
The Oklahoma State Capitol Renovation $2.5 million project included remodeling the west wing entry-level of the Capitol. The project included phased construction of the Capitol art gallery, visitor center and theater.
AGC provides the "Best of the Best" award based on a project's uniqueness, degree of difficulty, delivery methods, timeliness, and projects that exemplify the highest standards of construction.
Awards are considered for new construction and renovation in Commercial Construction projects. Small and large projects are considered equally.
