WILLIAMS EARNS LEED AP DESIGNATION


TAMPA, Fla. - Manhattan Construction Company is pleased to announce that team member Steve Williams has earned the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED™) Accredited Professional (AP) designation. The LEED™ Green Building Rating System is designed to encourage energy and resource conservation in the construction and operation of buildings. Williams is a Superintendent in Manhattan’s Florida Division.

With this designation, Williams joins the growing group of LEED™ Accredited Professionals at Manhattan Construction who are distinguished by demonstrating the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED™ certification process for projects. These individuals have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED™ Rating System.

Manhattan Construction has $1.8 billion in sustainable projects completed or underway, totaling 3.5 million square feet.
